Privacy and Security for the Affluent Client | Conference Center 8484 Westpark Drive | 8 - 9:30 am
Thank you to our meeting sponsor
Program Description and Benefits:
Raising client awareness of privacy and personal security concerns is an important service that planners can provide as we reposition ourselves in light of a possible estate tax repeal. Issues include structuring estate plans in a confidential manner, taking steps to prevent the disclosure of confidential information, avoiding public litigation, maximizing privacy at death, and protecting against physical kidnappings and cyber-attacks. Proactive planning is essential to both privacy and security. “After-the-fact” is too late once confidential information has been disclosed. The estate planner can assist the client in balancing the need for privacy and security against the inconvenience and cost impact that various alternatives will require.
Kris Coleman, President and CEO of Red 5 Security has over 20 years’ experience in the security and protective intelligence services industry. Kris’ depth and range of experiences in the public and private sector allow his firm to specialize in high quality, proactive, and discrete security services. Kris has served with the Central Intelligence Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and as a Principal at Good Harbor Consulting and Senior Instructor at Accelligence. He will discuss how to keep your clients and their families safe, their identity secure and their cyber-life private.
