Program Description and Benefits:
This program will provide a brief presentation on "return to work" decision-making and legal issues that may arise as companies begin to invite their employees to return to an in-person work environemnt.
Following the presentation, participants will have an opportunity to connect virtually with colleagues and share stories about how you've managed to find fun and relax in the Covid-19 pandemic summer.
Speaker Biography:
Kara M. Maciel, Esq., is a founding partner of Conn Maciel Carey LLP and Chair of the firm’s national Labor and Employment Practice Group. She focuses her practice on representing employers in all aspects of the employment relationship. In March of 2020, Ms. Maciel started her firm’s COVID-19 Task Force on which she advises employers on the employment law and workplace safety implications of COVID-19. The Task Force is a multi-disciplinary legal and regulatory group comprised of the firm's dedicated Workplace Safety, Labor and Employment Law, and Litigation attorneys that helps clients across all industries manage the multitude of pandemic-related issues employers are facing and prepare for potential litigation that is around the corner.

- Participant video and audio will be activated for the virtual happy hour at the conclusion of the return to work presentation.
